In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five travel and local apps in Latin America exhibited varied performance trends on a unified platform. Here's a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user metrics.

Airbnb saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 408K in the week of November 7. Active users also grew steadily, reaching around 2.7M by the end of December.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a notable rise in downloads, culminating in about 417K in the final week of December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, peaking at roughly 4.4M during the same period.

Google Earth maintained consistent download numbers throughout the quarter, with a high of around 204K in mid-October. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained around the 1M mark, closing the year with approximately 1.01M.

Despegar: vuelos y hoteles showed a steady increase in downloads, reaching a peak of about 136K in late November. Active users also saw growth, peaking at around 1.2M in the same timeframe.

Hurb: Hotels, travel and more had an impressive spike in downloads in early October, hitting approximately 127K. Active users increased significantly towards the end of December, reaching nearly 400K.
